Rohilkhand Medical College and Hospital Bareilly commenced its establishment in the academic year of 2006. The college is situated in the heart of the city and is about 245 km away from Lucknow. The college has been recognized by Medical Council of India (MCI), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India. It has been approved by UP Government. The old courses offered by the college are affiliated to MJP Rohilkhand University, Bareilly (Government university).
The institute offers programs at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate levels. Admission to these programs is done based on both merit and entrance examination.The institute is approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI) and Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. Rohilkhand Medical College and Hospital, Bareilly lies with an area of 42 acres providing various academic and infrastructural facilities like administrative blocks, lecture theatres, hostels, mess, library, hospital, intensive care unit, emergency clock, OPD block, blood bank etc. The campus is now being transformed into Bareilly International University which has other constituent colleges associated with it namely Rohilkhand Institute of Dental Sciences, Rohilkhand College of Nursing, Rohilkhand School of Nursing, Rohilkhand College of Paramedical Sciences, Rohilkhand College of Pharmacy, Rohilkhand College of Applied Sciences & Technology, Rohilkhand College of Management, Rohilkhand College of Humanities and Journalism etc.

Around 150 MBBS students are taken per year, and almost 90% of the students pass out every year. All roles are offered by our college, but it depends on the students which they select. In internships, the salary offered is around Rs. 8,000 by the UP government.
