Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology (TIET), formerly known as Thapar University, is a prestigious private deemed-to-be-university located in Patiala, Punjab, India. To get into Thapar University’s B.Tech programs, you need to apply online, meet the eligibility criteria of 60% (or 55% for SC/ST) in 10+2 with Physics and Math, and have a valid JEE Main score. Some branches may also involve an interview for candidates who meet the minimum cut-off.
