Established in 2018, Kharkiv International Medical University (KhIMU) is the first self-financed private medical institution in Ukraine to offer European-standard medical education with a global focus. For the 2026 academic year, the university continues to provide a variety of healthcare-related programs, primarily the flagship MBBS/MD (General Medicine), alongside specialties in Dentistry (BDS), Pharmacy, and Nursing.
The university is recognized by major international bodies, including the World Health Organization (WHO) and the National Medical Commission (NMC) of India, making its degrees valid for medical licensing exams worldwide, such as the FMGE/NExT in India or the PLAB in the UK.
