Established in 2015 as one of the newer generation of IITs, the Indian Institute of Technology Palakkad (IIT-PKD) is an Institute of National Importance located in the “Gateway to Kerala.” The institute has successfully transitioned its core operations to its permanent 500-acre Sahyadri campus in Kanjikode, which is designed with a focus on sustainability and a net-zero carbon footprint.
The B.Tech program at IIT Palakkad offers five primary specializations: Computer Science & Engineering, Data Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Civil Engineering.
