Dnipro State Medical University (DSMU), established in 1916 and formerly known as the Dnipropetrovsk State Medical Academy, is one of Ukraine’s oldest and most prestigious state-funded medical institutions. Located in the industrial and scientific hub of Dnipro, the university holds the highest (4th) level of accreditation and is a prominent center for medical education and research in Eastern Europe.
The MBBS program (awarded as the MD – Doctor of Medicine) at DSMU is a 6-year comprehensive course, with the first three years focusing on pre-clinical sciences and the final three dedicated to clinical rotations and internships.
