CUET

The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for Engineering is a national-level entrance exam in India used for admission into B.Tech and B.E. programs at various Central, State, and Private Universities. Unlike JEE Main, which is primarily for IITs and NITs, CUET allows students to apply to a broad range of institutions using a single score. Candidates typically choose a combination of subjects including Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, along with a mandatory Language paper and sometimes a General Test, depending on the specific requirements of the target university. The exam is computer-based (CBT) and consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) strictly based on the Class 12 NCERT syllabus, making it a more accessible option for students focused on board exam preparation.
