Established in 1995, the Manipur Institute of Management Studies (MIMS) is the premier management department of Manipur University, a Central University located in Imphal. As the only AICTE-approved management institute in the state, it was founded with the mission to bridge the gap in professional management expertise in the North-Eastern region.
The academic portfolio at MIMS is designed to cater to both aspiring managers and researchers, primarily focusing on postgraduate and doctoral levels. The flagship two-year full-time MBA program offers specializations in Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management (HRM), Information System Management, and Production & Operation Management.
